As the topic for October was FRUITS AND VEGETABLES, our students of Mini and Jr KG were taken for a visit to the supermarket - fruits, vegetables and grocery section. They were shown a variety of fruits, vegetables,some sold loose, some packed ones, frozen foods like green peas etc, products made from fruits/ vegetables like jam, juices, ketchup, icecreams...., They were shown the price tags, the billing counters too.

Students of Mini KG were taken to P L Deshpande garden for a Nature walk They enjoyed walking on the pathway, and seeing the different trees, grass and flowers. They were excited to watch the colourful butterflies and the beautiful pond in the middle of the garden. Children had fun in the bus ride too and enjoyed a light snack of jam sandwiches on the way back to school.

As a part of ‘ Rain and Water’ topic for August, students of Jr. and Sr. Kg. were taken to Khadakwasla Dam. They saw the large dam wall, the open gates of the dam, the backwaters from the bus.
